Todays baby needs a bit of comfort food, so how about a few delicious, dairy- free treats?
This homemade vegan and dairy free baby food is so quick to whip up that you won’t even need a blender!
You can make your own at home, but I’m sure you can find one at the grocery store.
This recipe is very similar to the ones that my husband and I made for our children, and they were delicious too.
This is a perfect way to introduce your child to healthy eating, since they will be eating more than just fruit and veggies, and the healthy fats in dairy are going to be very beneficial.
You’ll need:1 cup of shredded cheese, like Trader Joe’s 1/2 cup chopped spinach1 cup sliced sweet potato1/2 tablespoon shredded coconut1 tablespoon olive oil1/4 cup whole milk2 teaspoons vanilla extract2 teaspoons coconut aminos (or soy sauce, if you prefer)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place in the oven.
Combine shredded cheese with chopped spinach, sweet potato, coconut, and olive oil in a bowl.
Add coconut amino to coconut aminino mixture and mix until combined.
Add olive oil and vanilla extract to coconut mixture and blend until combined and creamy.
Add whole milk to the coconut amini mixture and fold until combined with whole milk.
Pour coconut aminis into the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with vanilla extract.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.
Allow to cool and serve with fresh fruit, veggies, or some homemade coconut milk.
